Wow, it has been a long time *clearing the dust off my keyboard* Hey guys *waving*, i know u missed me *hugs* A lot has happened since i last posted.. maybe i should do a quick update? yes? no? maybe? ok *Hi5* Let's rewind all the way back to December 2010. 07.12.2010 - 11.12.2010 Drove up to Dubai for a long weekend. It was a fantastic trip. Attended my cousin's wedding and lunch ceremnoy. i must tell u, weddnigs in Dubai are totally weird. Didn't like them that much. And wedding at Atlantis is over-rated. We ventured down to Kidzania and i can proudly say that i enjoyed it more than Qusay. i wish we had that when we were kids *sigh* Watched "Life As We Know It" in Dubai Mall cinema, and i slept half way thru it. But i rememebr it was nice. Did lots of shopping and came back broke hehehe. 24.12.2010 - 27.12.2010 Went to Kuwait. Weather was fantastic except that the person i went with was a bit of a wet-blanket (if not a lot). Did lots of shopping. Never go to Kuwait during sale seasons specially if you were not intending to shop hehehe :) January 2011: Happy New Year! yippeee \o/ Lost of weddings to attend.. on each weekend.. on 20.01.2011, went to Dubai for the weekend of relaxation (this post has lots of travelling) Ok can't remember anything else of January February 2011: can't remember anything except Sohar sadly started a Protest! March 2011: Brother's b-day. Went for dinner at Thai Aroy. It was ok not bad. Went to Seefa and tried Sammak. Loved it. Protests still going on. Went to Al-Ain for the day with cousins and it was so much fun. *FAST FORWARD* April 2011: And here we are. First week we had a ncie gathering for our Department at The Yacht Club and really enjoyed it. No further details. What happened in the Yacht Club remains at The Yacht Club :p Ok that's it. More updated in the next few days.

Heeeeeey, it’s been a while.. let me update you on what’s been happening:

1- Eid day, it was nice.. but damn HOT. Or was it just me? *wink wink*. Day started by greeting family members around Muscat (Qurum, Khuwair, Ghubra, Wadi Kabeer area). Then went for lunch at my hubby’s grandma in Al-Hail. After lunch, went home had a quick shower and sent Qusay to play in CCC. For the first time in my whole life CCC was empty except for me, Qusay, 2 of my cousins and their kids. Peaceful. After that we sent the kids for dinner at Mc D (I know I know not healthy but hey it’s Eid :p) then off to my Grandma for Dinner.
2- Second day was a bit quiet. Went to greet 3 family members then off for lunch at my hubby’s aunt in Ghubra. Then went for Afternoon tea at one of our Twitter friend’s place in Ansab. It was nice. Really enjoyed it. Then at night went for dinner at Tomatoes in Intercon with my brothers & cousin. Oh-Em-Gee, I had the best lasagna EVER. It was so nice I can call it Sexaaaaeh and I had not tiny but HUGE orgasms (just think of it makes me want to scream out loud), ok u got my point, u should totally try it. Along with the dinner we had mojito (virgin as claimed) but I think there was sth extra bcoz I was just laughing the whole night hysterically and making funny sarcastic jokes (or is it just my normal self as always?)
3- Third day was spent in a farm in Suwaiq with my family members from dad’s side. We were almost 60 people there. We had a surprise b-day for one of my cousins and she was all happy about it *bless her*. We got back home around 11 at night! Will post some pics later
4- Friday, last day of holiday for some (not me), we went to Al-Ain for the day (me & Brotehrs). We arrived there around 11:20. My brothers went to watch Harry Porter around 11:45 and I watched Unstoppable around 12:45. Nice movie, enjoyed it. Then had our lunch, went around for a bit, prayed, had ice cream and headed back to Muscat. We were supposed to leave Al-Ain at 3:30 but instead left around 5:10 pm lol. Got home just before 9 but was dead tired. Decided to crash at my parents place (oh how I miss being there)
5- Saturday was supposed to be a relaxing day, but had to run some errands. Nevertheless I enjoyed it.
6- Did I mention that my son is being very naughty? The other day we were in the car and he said sth. I asked him: “yes darling what did you say?” and he replied “I wasn’t talking to you, I was talking to me” HEY BOY, NEWSFALS, I’M YOUR MOTHER! Well he made me laugh though, didn’t expect him to say that lol
7- Qusay’s favorite song of the moment is Poker Face by Lady Gaga and OMG by Usher. BOY PLZ LEARN YOUR NURSERY RHYMES
8- Qusay was super excited that my cousin Hamoud went to see Lady Gaga that he keeps on telling me take to Sweden to see Gaga like my friend uncle Hamoud. Lol ok, wish granted.
9- The Queen of UK is visiting Oman today.

1- On Friday drove down to Al-Ain for a shopping spree for teh day. Left here around 7 am, shopped till i dropped, got back Home around 8:30 pm. It was a nice trip, really enjoyed it.
2- I'm planning for a trip to Kuwait in the next coming weeks, just waiting for it to be cooler, like around 20 degrees or less. Or maybe just hop down there in Eid. whichever comes first :D
3- Few days back i remembered my aunt had a neighbour during 1990/91 who were Kuwaitis. I used to meet them once a week and used to play with them. I can't rememebr their names but i think there was a girl named Dalal and i think there was her sister or cousin named Samaa7. If any Kuwaiti bloggers know of them, they used to live in Qurum area, please get me their contact details or maybe sub7an allah one of them is a blogger :)

Hey alll.. Bet u missed me!
So i went for Umra for approximately 5 days. One of the most beautiful 5 days spent. I went with one of my dearest friends, Blue, and i'm glad she enjoyed it too..
When i was there, i forgot all about the world that existed in Oman. Life was simpler. Just eat, sleep, pray, read & think positively!

Things i learnt in KSA:
1- Seggregation between men & women in restaurants, while ordering for your meal.
2- Other nationalities aren't as good as theirs, they always have the first rank
3- Money there is a blessing.. for RO 100 u can buy a lot! (complete opposite in UAE.. i love u Dubai nevertheless)

And now i'm back to work, arrghh.. Not that i hate it, i love my office, but i dread the waking up early and all that sh**!

On a whole different note: deep down inside i really miss shaping my eyebrows :/

Soooooo, I've been Tagged by Standy. I need to state 6 things that people don't know about me.. Damn that's difficult.. People read me like an open book.. i'll try my best to list "other" things in case maybe they don't know.

Such a Dramatic Weekend!

Damn my weekend was full of DRAMA..
1- My precious hubby made me ANGRY. He got my son to be bald headed. Can you her me? my son is BALD. Ok he's still cute as me but still, i love his hair :(

2- I went to my school firend's birthday party and it was a BLAST (i can also add FROM THE PAST heheh). Ok first things first we were told to be there at 4:30. And guess what? the birthday girl arived at 5:45. I was half way boiling by now. we chilled and all. Now come to the music part, OMG they played songs that were too old (ok maybe like 4 or 5 years old but u know) i was like plzzz shoot me now loool (did i mention FROM THE PAST). Nevertheless i had so much fun, i met girls i haven't seen since i left school. Some girls look the same (as in they never liked me and they still don't lool), some were still the same size despite having kids, some changed dramatically that i didn't recognize them till someone called out their name, and some still had the same attitude they had when they were in school (like totally not my crowd). Then they showed us a slideshow of photos taken during school days (sigh, we were innocent and cool). It was nice.. had a blast.. we decided to do it again, like on her 40th B-day inshala lool. I may invite one or two of them for my B-day next year inshala, when i approach the big ?-0 :)

Heeeeey! I'm back & I'm gayer the than Christmas :)

I've been away from Muscat for a trip at Jabal Akhdar for 3 days and it was the best days of my life!

The trip was a compulsory course that we have to attend. It consisted of many exercises thru out the day starting from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm. Could be tiring but nevertheless exciting too... it was a mixed group of girls and boys.. the boys were very hilarious, without them i bet i wouldn't have had so much fun.. specially that my "office" BF was there too lool ;)

One of the activities was climbing down a high cliff using a rope and man was that exciting and scary at the same time! I'll put up the pictures once i get them from the guys.

We also had a BBQ night, which was nice! filled with music, jokes, drinks and FOOD :)

On our way back, we had so much fun in the bus to the point that i wished the journey wouldn't end!

The worst thing happened when we were dropped off. My car battery decided to die and NO ONE was around :(

I called my friend and miskeen he came for my rescue but we both didn't have the jumper wire thingie. Thankfully hubby was close by so he came to jump start the car (after my "office" BF left hehehe to avoid any e7im don't know)

So that was a brief of my week, how was yours?

it's been really hectic from the day i got back from DUBAI!

first i got back at 10 pm... was tired with a headache so i had a shower and slept like a log... until my hubby's alarm rang off to go to work!

Then the days passed by, by having invitations around and juggling work in between...

Then my housemaid leaves for GOOD... it's sad and nice at the same time... wierd feeling...

So today is day 3 without a nanny and the house needs a lot of my attention...

Yesterday was the day of cleaning out the cupboards in the kitchen and i had to throw out many MANY things..

Bless my son.. he has been helping me the whole day with his attempt in brushing the floor and helping me hanging clothes outside...

A couple of things my baby boy did / said for your amusement :)

1. One day we were having lunch and we had a couple of sodas around. My son came in and was like uncle uncle me want. So my bro took a bottle of coke to pour it in a glass and out of nowhere my boy screams NO NO no black soda uncle no. And now we know my son is a RACIST :)

2. Couple of weeks ago it was raining and it was the first time my son to witness sth like it. So he ran to my mum and screamed grandma the sky opened and water is coming down. My boy was really amazed :)

3. Me and my brother were outside the house cleaning. So there was a bit of sand on the window cell. I asked my bro what's that so he said sand. My son jumped and said NO uncle sand not up, sand down. Sand, down. Lol my son is SMART :)

Soooooo, my trip to Dubai was Aaaaaahhh-Maaaaazingggg.. didn't wanna come back!!

Went to the JBR - The Walk, Dubai Mall (hmmm Candylicious), Festival City, Dubai Outlet Mall, City Center.. Spent time eating in Carino's Grills (yummy mashrooms), BK, Mexicano, TGI Friday's... Didn't buy anything apart from a couple of tops for my Prince and a couple of CDs and a book for myself :D

The trip was nice EXCEPT for the flight...

On my way to Dubai i was sandwiched between two men - no no, scratch that thought out, i wish it was between McSteamy & McDreamy - One had a bad breath and the one one a bad odor.. Ya3ni imagine how the 42 minutes flight was UFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF..

On my way back i thought woohoo i got an aisle seat but no this bedwin guy refused to go to his original seat between two foreigers and ya you guessed it i was AGAIN between two people but at least the woman smelt decent not like the man.. but everytime he moved his scent came rushing into my nostrila ewooo... not pretty..

As i was sipping my cup of coffee and reading my daily newspaper, i was also having a conversartion with myself. Looking around, did you come to notice that for every 1 guy there are 6 girls?? Dude, the number of women are increasing in the world by the second!
And marriage rates has declined by more than 65%! The divorce rate increased by 70%! these numbers are just so amazing it gives me a chill everytime i remember them :/

but then don't you wonder, if all men decide to be single and never marry, what will happen to the world? does this cause a threat?

My baby sister is getting married woohooo *doing the chicken/happy dance*

I cannot believe it, i'm so happy for her i'm forcing the tears out of my eyes *u can guess how painful that is, go on, try*

No no for real, i'm so happy.. i'm wishing her all the best.. I met the guy and he seems nice, i must also add he's good looking so Thnk The Lord there are no chances of her waking up in the middle of the night and jumps in fear after seeing the guy beside her, in fact there will be other jumping to do loool...

At last in a few months time our emails would read "hey ladies" only instead of adding "and girl" :)

So, i raise my glass and say CONGRATS girl, you got urself a JACKPOT!

So, today i got up with a pleasant wake up call! ya, u guessed up.. my hubby woke me up an hour earlier than my clock showering me with kisses, which i guarantee you the actions that happened after it is thousand times worthy than a grande double caramel latte or whatever u people love drinking loool..

I came to work all freshened up, worked hard and now i'm very sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy it's not even funny as we have this walkathon today and i'm soo looking forward to it!
